Hunter x Hunter (2011) EP70 Review

Hello everyone and welcome to We are Fanboys!, where we explore our inner selves!

I'm RexRazor and this time we'll review the latest episode of Hunter X Hunter 2011 entitled "Guts x And x Courage".


After the episode recap and OP, the story progresses with Gon being patched up and Goreinu's grudge to Razor. I won't go in detail but after that Gon's team, consist of Killua, Bisky and Hisoka, is up against Razor, the huge #13 and the small and fast #2 with a bunch of outside-field players. Razor's last attack almost killed Killua, and injured Hisoka's hand. Bisky was out because the ball touched her clothes and ultimately, making Gon use his team's "Back".

For the first time, Gon demonstrated his Janken inspired attack! As the story progressed, Gon launched two attacks, one knocked out #13, the other one Razor received. Hisoka's Bungee Gum made the second attack possible by maintaining the ball's possession. Being able to move Razor was enough to make Gon smile a bit. The next scene gave me chills! It showed Gon and Killua's friendship and trust to each other. With the ED theme, Reason, playing in the background while explaining everything, I was moved. Bisky was able to take down #2 with a sharp curved throw leaving Razor with the ball possession and the only opponent inside the field.
